Head On Health is not a crisis service. The following resources and information may help you navigate those stressful times when you are not able to access regular psychological services.

Lifeline is a non-profit organisation that provides free, 24-hour telephone crisis support in Australia. Volunteer crisis supporters provide suicide prevention services, mental health support and emotional assistance, not only via telephone but face-to-face and online.


Beyond Blue

Beyond Blue is an Australian mental health and wellbeing support organisation. They provide support programs to address issues related to depression, suicide, anxiety disorders and other related mental illnesses. They have some excellent resources to help during tough times. From their website you can chat online or speak to a counsellor.

Domestic Violence Service

Phone: 1800 RESPECT / 1800 737 732


1800RESPECT is a confidential informational, counselling and support service for individuals experiencing domestic violence. It is available for free 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to support people experiencing domestic, family or sexual violence. There are useful resources on their website. Beyond Now app

Beyond Blue

The Beyond Now app is a useful tool for setting up a safety plan for yourself or your loved one. It is a guided app that helps you work through the process of creating a safety plan to follow. It will help you through the steps of recognising your warning signs, making a safe space, and what to do and how to think to cope better.
